Man I hate to argue on the same side of any issue as hellblazer, but this massacre has all of the earmarks of media control and of course the typical attack on gun freedoms that have been ramping up a lot more often lately.
Let's do a little test, shall we?
Whenever these things happen, like it did with the movie theater dude and the campground-killer dude in Oslo, I like to see what OTHER news is going on at the same time, that this one is pushing out of the spotlight...
So here's what the whole US is focused on today:
Meanwhile, through the magic that we critical thinkers like to call the internets, you can see what the rest of the world is reading about today:
Hmm. Slightly different.
You'd think that the whole world would be focused on a classroom of kids being massacred today, right? Just like we here in the US focused on Norway for days after the campground massacre, right?
Nope, apparently the rest of the world thinks that some stupid, insignificant troop build-up by some evil nation is more important news...
Oh, wait a minute... That evil nation is the very one not talking about the troop build-up! I see... But let's put that aside for a second.
When the US's owners want to remove your guns, which it has been chipping away at for decades now, then they can easily put the emphasis on stories here, if not flat-out help to create those massacres in the first place, that enrages the public against guns.
This is why 90% of Americans know who Anders Brevik is right now but most countries don't have a single pecent in them who knows the name of today's shooter.
Add to this fact the hiding of our troop build-up on the syrian border and the US gov has not one but TWO motives to be behind today's attack. (And that's from just a cursory glance at CNN.)
I'm not saying that the US government was definitely drugging and brainwashing this bastard into murdering all these kids, but you gotta admit, the outcome in the media is so very convenient for those that want to take away your guns and keep the war machine alive in the middle east.
I honestly don't know how far down the rabbit hole goes... But all I know is this shit happens too often now, and always, always, always benefits those who want to take away your freedoms and preserve the war machine that Ike warned us all about.
Fuck you for thinking a school shooting is a government conspiracy rather than a random act of insanity.
Why is everything so black and white with you dchuk? Can't there be a possibility of a little bit of conspiracy behind this, such as the white house seeing a massacre in progress and using that opportunity to further their agenda with gun laws and escalate war in the mideast while we're so distracted? He didn't say he believed that the MK-Ultra program is still around and they used it on this kid for sure... Conspiracies can reside on any shade of gray inbetween innocence and guilty.
And when better to partake in one than during a national tragedy that causes thousands of people like you to irrationally defend against any talk of conspiracy?
The reason I am so pissed at you doubting idiots is because as soon as you cast doubt on this tragedy you're trivializing the real problem here - that a bunch of innocent adults and completely innocent young children were murdered in cold blood.
I hear you, but you're acting on emotion here, and not letting yourself see the long term trend. You're acting like a woman, so chill!
If you just write today's events off as too sacred to investigate like they did with 9/11, then the evil benefactors get away with it again, just like they did with 9/11. (No matter if they somehow instigated today's events or just used it to their benefit.)
Either way it is YOU that are helping evil to keep happening with that attitude. You're setting or reinforcing a precedent that basically makes it taboo to question authority when bad things happen. Is that logical?
The powers of the state are without limit when everyone thinks your way.
