Salespage not converting?

If you're an affiliate you want to be someone's bitch

There. Fixed that for you. Most affiliates are someone's bitch, doesn't matter if they're doing Clickbank, CPA rebills, or anything else. Only a small fraction build a real business with sales funnels and repeat customers (yes, even as affiliates).

Just some quick ideas/thoughts:

Can you build an email list on your page with automatic follow ups? Gives you more than one time to get the sale, and you can promote multiple products this way over time.

Would adding a review video on the page help? Maybe also show exactly how to order if their site is confusing.

Does the merchant give you multiple landing page options, instead of the default?

Why just stick to high gravity products? They usually mean lots of competition, but undiscovered products can convert well too, they're just not getting the same amount of attention.

(I know, you're thinking 'wtf - long copy lander to long copy sales page f* that's 20min my customer is not going to stick around') < Don't limit your thinking. CPS is a lot different than anything else and you need to pre-sell with finnesse and skill.

^This. Read Cashvertising. Long sales copy doesn't necessarily mean you're forcing people to read more. For some it's about reassurance - they skim and see there are a lot of benefits, then they click. Others might not be sold until they read the very last benefit. Dotting your long copy below the fold with links is important as well, don't make them read everything and scroll all the way back up to buy.

I've got the same issue with converting. We have developed the landing page and got no sales. I found that the best thing to increase the sales would be the blog + forum. That makes people following the posts and share them with others. So far we are having the most percentage of sale because of that person-to-person shares. I hope that helps.

you're in the wrong niche. or sell the wrong product, or maybe your copy sucks.

I would say all above. We are selling a new product that no one knows about that. It's hard to write a copy that actually works. I think that is just all about time.

you should be collecting emails first by offering some kind of a free guide in the niche, and then sending multiple clickbank offers to these people on an autoresponder. there i said it.

speaking of clickbank... is there any system like that but to sell medical stuff? As far as I know clickbank deal with audio/video/games/software stuff only.

Clickbank is garbage I don't know why anyone sells any of their crap. Go to a real affiliate network.

Excellent post. I think this spillover happens more than people know. That is why internal linking is so important to help keep your prospect on your site and not let someone else claim your profits by luck or chance. People are impatient and click happy.

I agree with the idea of building a list. Then you can actually send that list different polls about what they want and send accompanying content that fits their needs. You might discover they are more interested in internet games versus xbox games? Or they want a guide on how to date a cheerleader? Whatever the case is, you can open up the offers based on what they want.

Plus, it will provide long-lasting opportunities.
