RSS Xploiter 2.1 - automated backlink generator

1. I was just thinking that if someone is trying to sell software, it might be nice for them to have a demo site showing it running. It wouldn't need to be a profitable niche or even a monetized site. Throw up a site about anteaters and let the RSS Xploiter run to prove it works.

Nomara, just one question. Why? It's $75 dollars, on a method that's been proven to work - what else can you ask for? If a member wants to put up a test, they can - but he's shown screen shots of what it does, and you have the testimonials from other customers; why waste money on a test site? It won't show anything that you can't see on your own blog.

My 2 cents, that is.

How long should you leave the xml files on the server? I'm up to 1,000 xml files in 2.5 days, which isn't a big problem, just wondering if I should leave all of the xml files up forever, or if they can be removed after a certain period of time.
I would leave them forever so your feeds don't get de-indexed. But, I'll do a little test here soon and remove a feed file and see if it gets de-indexed. I'll post the results :P It'll probably take at least a month before I post something, cause I want it to be "solid".

RudeDogg can u please check your pm. I paid for the software thru ur site
but i never got anything. If you could help please thank you.

Ok, I just emailed all the previous customer's with instructions on how to get the new version 2.2. It's a free update so check your inbox if you bought the app. Not too much new, just a few fixes and added some pings :D

Improvements:
  • Added Yahoo, IceRocket, and BlogDigger to ping list.
  • Fixed issue where the program would delete settings on a failed authorization attempt.
  • Much better documentation.
Thanks for the nice review Conquistador, I'm glad you like it so far :)

Thanks for fixing that 'delete' settings bug. I'm on my college network now, and I was wondering why my settings kept being deleted. Everytime I startup my comp I have to login via a browser, before they give me internet access...so the login kept failing. :error:

Bofu2u,

Fair point. I am really just wondering if the method has been proven to work lately. I know there have been a lot of testimonials about it working, but no one has ever pointed out a site (even an old, dead one) that you can verify it on. Or maybe they've pointed it out and I've never seen it.

I don't doubt that it works, I was just seeing if I could get more information before I buy it. If RudeDogg doesn't get a site setup, that's completely understandable and I may still buy the program. I'm just trying to get as much info as I can before buying.

I'm particularly interested in how many of the feeds/posts get indexed in Google blogsearch. I know that a lot of the aggregators (including Google) use the frequency of the ping to determine spamminess. So if you post & ping Google every three hours without any variance, it's likely your feeds/posts won't get indexed after a while. If you want to expand your mind and get more information, you might want to check out the academic paper by Lin Sundaram and Chi: "Splog Detection Using Self-similarity Analysis on Blog Temporal Dynamics."

Of course, having the real blog posts that can be found by the bots/spiders can help make it seem less spammy.

waiting on download :P
Sent, and I'm caught up on everything. :D

Hehe no problem. Losing the settings occasionally was a major pain.

Very true. However, keep one thing in mind - this isn't a product with "those testimonials" with great prictures and audios next to them. This is wickedfire. You can verify if they're real or not. But also with Google BlogSearch and ping-times, maybe not. How many sites out there already have a 3 hour pingtime with new articles on a cron job for their backend? I currently run a few splogs myself (different script, same concept - but it does the frontend as well) and that hits the ping sites almost every hour. Still no problems here, but I guess I could be a separate point considering a separate method. All points aside, RuDe I PM'd you. :)

Just starting in this field so it would be a great tool.

Figured I'd chime in and say this was as easy as pie. I'd been doing something similar with rss rebound and beyond the fact that I have more control over the content with rss rebound this is faster and I don't have to babysit it.

Thanks for the comments stmadeveloper. I'm glad you like it!

I'm caught up on orders, so to those who ordered check your inbox ;)

Thanks for sending the product over to me right away after I ordered it the other day. I finally got a chance to use it tonight and had it figured out in a few minutes.

So far its working fine. I'll let you know if I start getting some backlinks from it.

One small suggestion: You should try to add better functionality for multiple sites in the next version (I know you're considering that). Also, if there was a results page that would track the backlinks that were the result of this program it would be really helpful.

Thanks again. Thsi rocks.

Are you really seeing backlinks after only 1 or 2 days? This isn't usual, I suppose? I figured it would take 2-4 weeks to see any backlinks.
sorry for not posting earlier...what I said just shows my noobiness as I was not using this app in isolation. I was trying some other things also. But these backlinks just seemed to coincide with running this app and I assumed that the backlinks was due to them.

But as RuDeDoGg says you should expect to wait a few weeks for backlinks which sort of confirms why I didnt try to code it myself.

I am interested to see the feedback from everyone when they start to see the backlinks.... please keep us updated. :)
