Which program are you using for your gif works? ImageMagick? If not it's free and easy to use, ImageMagick: Convert, Edit, and Compose Images

Adobe CS3 Fireworks. All I did was open the original, dupe the layers and reverse the second half. The original was 256 colours and over 3mb in size so that is why the second version became 7mb. The revision removes about 10 frames and is reduced to 64 colours and is now back down to 3.5mb... around 110 frames I think.
