oh, I didn't know about that... Seems like the grew some balls after all.

But yeah, basically if content of which you poses the IP, you can email them with all necessary documents and they will take it down really quickly.

Big content providers have access to a platform where they can take down videos which infringe their IP by themselves.

Also 48 HOURS of video are uploaded on youtube every MINUTE. No one can moderate that amount of content.

Also they just provide hosting for the videos, they don't upload copywrited content themselves. It's against their T&C to upload a copywrited contet, to which you don't have the coresponding rights.

should wikimedia be sued for having quotes from copywritted books on wikipedia? Why was the uproar against SOPA? Do you actually think about it?

People still use limewire? I thought they became a premium service of some sort.

No, because if that was true, then KimDotCom would have never received the shit storm he did.

Google gets preferential treatment, for obvious reasons.

Should be tossed out of court for frivolous lawsuit. They are jamming up the system, some fucker is trying to sue burger king for a condom in his whopper that he choked on.
They are just gunking things up assholes.

No, you don't know shit.

Kimdotcom was charged because they had emails how he encouraged uploading pirated content. They had emails them discussing future rewards for uploaders and how they should give some prize to someone who uploaded some shit dotcom really wanted and downloaded.

That made all the charges plausible. Also he is not convicted yet.

Also it is the same principle that enabled dotcom to do this for all these years and various other sites to keep doing what they are doing. They just got cocky and stupid.

Please don't just skim lines when you read articles. When you do, you make stupid statements after a while when you quote them for relevancy.
