or if your website generated lots of e-mail questions, would you have use for a section (with your own blog/site name on the section) on a forum where your visitors can congregate and chat with each other and with you?

If you would use it....
Would you only use it if there was no charge or would you be willing to pay to have a section?
Would you want it open to all forum members or open only to your blog's/site's members?
Would you want to monetize your own section?

I appreciate your input, thank you.

gee jan,
good question. I personally would love to see a recent questions box on my blog. where people can quickly and easily post a question and below it i can answer. My blog recieves a ton of questions and a lot of them i answer in duplicate simply because they are too timid or secretive to ask them in the comments or forum. Thats the other problem, no one uses my forum :)

I'm curious...here's a few questions;
Why do you think they don't go to your forum?
Do you have a direct link in your post (like before comments) to your forum or maybe to a direct thread titled the same as your post?
Do you think they would they go if there were no comments?

I think there is high competition for forums, so a place to bring mini forums together might work. It also might be another one of my great ideas that aren't so great! haha :)
