generally true, but it's odd here. I find it funny how people start blowing up fireworks 10 days before nov 5th, and then obviously burn out most of their budget too soon, so on nov5th you dont get as much fireworks from individuals, mainly from big bonfire events.

It's also the only time when people just get have a massive bonfire in the middle of a public place. There was a 5ft tall flaming bonfire in a 10m by 10m courtyard. Any other time the fire service and the cops will be on it taking down the bonfire and taking names. But cos it's nov 5th, it's completely cool.

Btw Occupy London must've missed a trick there, they should've loaded st pauls with bonfires.

the word remember in your title made me remember the lyrics to a particular song which goes like "remember the time when she felt needed" and i traced it to savage garden's 'to the moon and back'. Now thanks to you i have spent the entire past hour listening to savage garden.

The character in the movie and comic is not suppose to be Guy Fawkes, but is someone in modern times wearing a Fawkes mask.

What I'm saying is, I've seen a lot of people take a position that the real intentions of Fawkes and whatever invalidate the quality of a movie since it's based on a false hero.

On another hand you have people who idealize Fawkes simply due to how his actions were portrayed in the movie.

To me neither position makes much sense.
 
lol at all you fuckers getting technical about which Fawkes character is being stylized... did you guys not see the movie or what? The mask represents the idea, not the character.
