Inspired by chrislingle's thread, I started marketing a few azoogle offers. I found that directing clicks directly to the offer's landing page converted a lot better than directing to them my own landing page. The redirects were working fine up until the last few days. For the past couple days Adword's has been deactivating my ads because of an "inaccurate display url". Has anyone experienced the same problem, and more importantly has anyone figured a way around it?:repuke:

What are you using as the display URL, the merchant web address or your own site?

Also, in their terms now they say you're not supposed to use redirects, which IMO sucks, but that could be why they're deactivating you.

I'm using my own site as the display url. I'm sure their's a way around this, just not sure how to go about it.

I think the display URL is supposed to be the same as the URL the user ends up on.

And that's how they keep 100 people all from making ads that point to the same page, because they only show one ad per display URL domain, and it often ends up being the merchants because they can afford to pay the most per click. That's why people use landing pages.

I have no idea if this is legal in your case, but will the affiliate let you frame their content?

you should know that google does not like it. you think there is a way around it? sure but is it against the google tos? is it worth getting google mad at you?
