I have been trying to find a good place or person to sell a high value website (yearly revenues in the half million dollar range, excellent cash flow). Flippa obviously won't work for such a large transaction so I am looking for recommendations of who to use to sell off such a website. Any recommendations?

May want to get a hold of Rick Latona. Him and his team have been into high value domains the past decade, but have branched out into sites.

Have never dealt with them personally, but I know they've handled big transactions before.

Rick Latona charges a ridiculous commission 15% and he wants you to sign an exclusive. Also he always has the same websites for sale so I'm not sure they actually sell any of them.

The sites listed on Latona's site don't appear all that great to me. Hell if he could get that kind of money for one of mine I would gladly give him 15%.

That's what I was thinking. The very last site about cholesterol is established a few months ago and sells $1.8k of private ads with 700 uniques per month. Shady.

see this is why this is an excellent place to ask these questions. I thought 15% seemed high but didn't know for sure as well as that most of those sites were selling for multipliers of their annual revenue. The site is only 6 months old but has been chugging along like a champ from day one on ppc traffic and has now acheived great rankings so I thought it might be a good time to look at exiting the market and moving onto a bigger one.

You can also just Google 'website broker' and try your luck. Another option is to contact the big dogs in your niche and ask them if their interested. I've had luck selling my sites directly to the networks I work with.

Agreed. Also, the prices asked for Latona's sites for sale compared to the net revenue is ridiculous.

Hey everyone thanks for the awesome tips so far. I have submitted my site to three diffrent brokers who Ill be talking with throughout the week here and then picking one to go with. I applied to Latonas, but immediately ruled them out after hearing from people here. They are currently selling one of my competitors which I thought was interesting.

Firstrade is one of the best online brokers, i heard about it before a couple of days, it caught my attention with its $6.95 commissions, no quarterly and annual fees.
