To make a long story short, I've been a fuck-up for the past few years.

My intellect, happiness, and motivation has withered away while pursuing a degree that I do not give one shit about.

Right now, I am setting myself up for a life of mediocrity. I cannot let this happen.

Inspired by SkyFire's journal, I've made it my goal to achieve $100,000 within the next three months.

Here's the game plan:

I've got some programming experience in Python. Simple web scrapers, tic-tac-toe games, "hello world", etc. It's time to expand on my programming knowledge and learn PHP.

Why PHP? Wordpress plugins - the infrastructure, market, and documentation are already there for me to work with.

By the end of this month, my first plugin will be finished. In December, I market it. If it's a hit, I continue to improve it and sell it. If not, I move on to the next plugin.

Wish me luck.

Ambitious and I like it.

I think something that sort of thing is what keeps us all going.

Hope you keep us updated!

You've been a fuckup the past few years and you expect to all of a sudden flip a switch and make $100k in 3 months?

I believe in setting small, realistic goals. Focus on hitting your first $1k, then, $5k, then $10k, etc. Achieving small goals builds momentum and keeps you motivated.

I only read: "to make long story short"

Only fucking horrendous story teller say that shit and then goes onto talk fucking jibbrish forever...

wow... Onkelmicha, that is about 1/5th of a page and you complain about it being a long text?

TIL: onkelmicha has the attention span of a oh look, a dog! come here, puppypuppy...

$100k in 3 months from a wordpress plugin on your first attempt when you don't even know PHP yet?

This is just entirely delusional.

Set a more realistic goal.

I love it that when someone said a negative word about the OP's effort, the whole thread just changed the tone completely

Not A ONE good luck afterwards, LOL.

This thing happens quite often in here. HATERS! :thefinger:

Meh, if you can't weather a few haters on an internet forum...

::emp::

Learning PHP when you already know python is stupid. Plenty of people make good money with python.

Wordpress will destroy your soul.

PM me :)

Finding affiliates and the marketing itself is more important than the plugin.

Do that while you're creating the plugin. Don't wait until your launch to try and promote it.

Good luck! My Jeffrey once said he would make moneys on the internet, and people didn't believe him, either. Ignore the haters and follow your true passion. Show everyone wrong, like my sweet little honey bunny did!

The only way that that can work if you tap yourself to $100k instead.

OP, stop being a phaggot. This is the internet.

Register a new username, waste time on STS and in 3 months come back using your original name to tell us 'mama your boy made it'.

Protip: If you tell WF you have a M6 that's a dead giveaway you're lying.

Good luck bros.

I hate to pile on but they're right. Have you even done the math on $100,000? You would need to sell 5,000 copies at $20 each, even if you had a 10% conversion rate on sales you would still need 50,000 hits to pull that off and if you recruit a bunch of clickbank gurus to do it for you then you'll either need to jack up your price higher or get even more sales.

Unless you've already got an idea for an amazing plugin that actually provides people value I'd pick another way of making $100k, very few wordpress plugins get that type of sales volume and the ones that do aren't made and marketed in under 3 months by people with no previous php experience. Sure you might be the first, but the odds aren't in your favor.

Only $100k won't get you any bitches unless you blow it all at once extravagantly.
You're gonna need at least 1 mil to make the lifestyle changes necessary to consistently get mo bitches.
