Racism Double Standard

Divide the citizens into classes, then play them off each other. A divided America is weaker than a united one.

Racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist - what do all these have in common? They're intended to create fault lines among us - by age, gender, race, sexual orientation, etc... Don't blame black people, as tempting as it is. Blame those who designed it to be this way and are influencing our cultural institutions to aggravate and exacerbate the tensions along these fault lines.

Principles, beliefs, and ideologies are the only real differences that should matter.

Pretty much agree with you there, although I think it matters more whether you believe anything based on trust or faith or if you keep an open mind.

Can't we all just get along! With that being said, does anyone really believe that the government can do anything to better this issue? After all, they have such a great track record so far. Just take a look at Medicade, Medicare, Social Security, the USPS, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, etc. EPIC FAIL! Racism has existed forever and will not be going away any time soon. You can say the same for stupidity.

Here's a UFC fighter named Cain from last night with "Brown Pride" across his chest. Imagine if he was white and it said "White Pride", there would be a fucking shit storm over it.

Cain Velasquez

That's OK though because Brock Lesnars big white ass is going to stomp him into the fucking ground, him and his tattoo.

I don't understand what Lesnar's "Gay Pride" tattoo has to do with either white, brown or black pride?

In India we have Caste system. The upper caste people treat the lower caste people as slaves and the lower caste people find them in a very disadvantageous position. They don't even have most basic rights. In many villages, the upper caste people won't let the lower caste into temples, don't let them drink water from the same sources the upper caste drink from etc.

Or would you rather see them be as poor as they always were and be dominated as unnecessarily-usual.

Look. You lower-caste folks need to get off Facebook and back onto Myspace where you belong. I'll give you 10 minutes.

...for example. I would adjust your ratio to maybe 8 out of 10. There will never be equality as long as people expect special treatment, or others (ie whites) insist on providing special treatment. For instance, I think Black History Month is a racist concept. Why should great black people be honored and taught about one month per year? Black history should be taught alongside of "white" history - history should be taught collectively.

"White guilt" has done more to harm black people than the Klan ever did, because at least with the Klan you knew it was some evil shit. But the special treatment seeps into the consciousness of people and can rob them of self-determination, self-esteem and self-respect like a fucking thief in the night. If you keep telling somebody they need help to succeed in life, they start to believe you.

One thing that always bugs me is the fucking MOBO awards and the whole concept of "black music".

You could argue that, like the human race, all music came from Africa or that most contemporary music evolved from folk from the middle ages combined with classical and tribal elements (not to mention the role of the greeks, arabs, etc ) but to try and say certain music is "black" is incorrect and insulting to people of any racial background.

I somehow doubt the MOWOs would go down well.. oh look a melody, verse/chorus structure, that must be "white music"... what a load of shit.

Racial discrimination typically points out differences between different groups of people, although anyone may be discriminated against on an ethnic or cultural basis, independently of their somatic differences.

Tell me you are a human being before I discriminate against people who sound like bots with the banhammer.
