i work for a local web design and internet marketing company.
we're looking to brand a new product.. would be complete wordpress sites .. means domain, design, setup, etc
if we wanted to push this on the affiliate level,
#1 is this something networks would be into?
#2 if yes, which networks would you talk to?
#3 if no, how would you market a new product like this?

if we can get publishers somewhere close to $30+ for signup i dont see why this wouldnt work..

thanks for those that leave thoughtful responses.

most people dont know or have the desire to know how to work/install wordpress...we would sell them a package where they get everything setup for them...domain, design, all that...so yea...

Traditional affiliate networks would be better fits than CPA networks, most likely.

Yeah seems like a small volume seller for a few publishers with blogs that get 1-2 sales a month. Rather then broad appeal.

Pushing the offers up on the affiliate networks won't hurt but don't expect much from it, there is a reason there are few b2b offers out there except for biz opps and free business cards.

IIRC CJ charges 3K just to join the network and 10% of all commissions paid...

lol $3k just to join?
did not know that.

and to the person who said "why wouldnt they go to wordpress.com"

were talking mostly about small/medium businesses here.. most aren't going to have any idea how to install/work wordpress nor do they probably care enough to do so.

also it would be a full service package so hosting, domain, custom design, 0 work on their end...i think that sets us apart from just going to wordpress.com

Advertise your brand/service with PPC, either with adwords or FB for local targetting.

Clickbank could work too, but I don't know what is the fee to offer a product on their platform.

ps: go back to whywork

10% fee? Try 30%...

ShareASale would be the cheapest traditional network to launch in, but a good CJ program is probably better if you have the startup capital. I'd avoid Linkshare, and also make sure to have a great fraud detection system in place.
