If I have a campaign that is breaking even or maybe losing a little bit would it be better to focus on getting rid of bad keywords or improving landing page and ad copy in hopes that the bad keywords will start converting better? Or is there a happy medium?

Thanks,
Nick

You should be split testing your landing pages and ad copy from the start.

As for the bad keywords, yes, if they aren't converting at all with the LPs and ad copy, weed them out to see if that helps bring up the ROI/EPC. But don't just scrap them, they may be profitable if placed in their own group with new ad copy and LPs.

You can't test enough when doing PPC, one little tweak can get a huge result. We'll you can test too much but most people will never get that far.

If you're bothering to ask, the answer is 99.9% likely to be "yes". I'd aim to improve the ad copy and landing page first, though, since you won't really know what your keywords can do until you've tried them out with various landing pages and ad copy.

your going to need to do both. If you are 100% certain that keywords are bad, get rid of them so you stop losing money, then tweak the LP

It's so bad....I just can't watch anymore....but at the same time it's so funny...Those 45 minute episodes should be 7, maybe 8 minutes....ughh.
