what do you guys do with your URL's in fb advertising?

i've tried to submit a few ads, I only got them approved when i put the Advertisers actual domain url in

when i put in my aff url or Prosper202 tracking url the ads get disapproved

wat do?

what would the cloaked url look like?
i would think that the closer the url is to what you're pushing the better for click-throughs, i.e. BlueWidgets @ BlueWidgets.com

I tried with a few url shorteners too, looks like they're not getting approved either

you're telling me if the advertiser is Walmart.com the cloaked url would be Walmart.com?

how does that work?

fuckin magnets and shit?

the offer you are trying to promote is most likely against t and c's

or

your prosper url is flagged ... change domain and ip...

or

the aff network's link is flagged...

dis is day one stuff dude

If you do get banned from FB, do you need a new server as well?

On my past banned accounts, it was easy to get new accounts. Now they seem to be looking at way more than just a URL, ccard, bill addy and IP. They seem to be getting better (even Google like) at picking up cloaks faster and/or even catching stuff before they even approve your account.

alright so music4mic has been helpful and suggested cloaking (or masking?)

i did some research into this, looks like there are a few ways to do it, and a few different meanings of 'cloaking' as well

as far as i can tell, fb cloaking is about showing FB Ad Reviewers one LP and users a diff LP (redirecting via user-agent or ip/host)

i don't really need that as my offers are in line with TOS

i think my issue might be that I'm using MaxBounty affnetwork, i think they were banned from fb

A lot of times a legit offer will be rejected b/c the facebook reviewers are in a different country than what the offer is. For ex, you have a dating offer for "Columbian Cupid" which redirects to an unrelated UK dating offer when a FB reviewer in England reviews the ad. (CPA companies like maxbounty for ex will do this).

So grab a cheap domain, run a php redirect which at first will read "columbiancupid.com" for the ad review and then is changed (by you) to your affiliate link for columbian cupid after the ad is approved. FB will not penalize you after the fact as the final landing page will be "columbiancupid.com" the entire time.
