I bought this. I like it.

It is a little dodgy on XP but it works a treat when you get it going.

The OP is a nice and helpful person.
 


the fact you can run this software using screen on your box and access your proxy list via http, so all your other apps can access it...... makes that app just amazing
 
Does it work under Win7 (I am asking because my working laptop is win7 by default, of course I can use vmware...but I'd rather not to)?

Can I use the proxies collected by it for scrapbox campaign? or it's better to use private proxies?

Works great on Windows 7. You can use them for scrapebox campaigns, there's no guarantee other people haven't spammed with them though, as they are public.

^I really like this part of it.

Picked up a copy yesterday, set it up last night with no problems. Going to run it today on the VM while I step out for a few hours just to see how many I come back to. Fun!
 
Interested in buying this but have some questions.

I want to use the proxies that this collects for a special WP plugin that accepts HTTP and Sock 5 proxies. I do not plan on adding these to my host but wonder if it would work with the plugin?

The type of proxy this software collects is only HTTP, not SOCKS. Assuming the plugin has a way of pasting a plain list of proxies in, it should work fine. Ideally, you'd have a script running on the same machine as ProxyFinder, which remotely updates the plugin, as these proxies don't always stay up for long periods.

what features do you have in mind to add to this?

and will you increase the price as new features are added? if so to how much?

edit: I guess I need to learn math that's 3 questions
 
A GUI is planned, as well with more controls, and most likely an ability to filter by IP country. The price will go up, it'll be a free upgrade to existing buyers though.

Hmmm. that didn't get me privileges nor ability to upgrade to premium subscription for the forum. Will someone clue me in to what is needed
