ProxyFinder

Is anyone receiving less than 10 proxies found? The most I can find is 11. I must be doing something wrong. I applied the tcp/ip patch for xp, so i don't think that is the problem.

Just Brought the proxyfinder but there was no download link for it?!?

I brought megapinger earlier today and just brought proxyfinder. Paypal Transaction ID: 29500932XK033892S.

But there was no link to download the proxyfinder after I paid for it. Not sure if this was because I entered my paypal password wrong the first time before paying.

Oh well. Can you either send me the download link via PM or via the email stated on the transaction ID above.

I hope to start using your products soon. :D

Thanks.

were you able to resolve this? Im experiencing the same thing. Just patched xp sp3 and rebooted

I used this one Remove Windows XP SP3 TCP/IP Connections Limit | Windows Reference

Yes I was able to rectify the situation. Check Event Viewer (right click my computer and select manage) to see what kind of errors you are receiving when you start Proxyfinder. If you are getting a tcp/ip error, then you know that's the problem.

AVG was actually blocking access to Proxyfinder, which is what my problem was after I applied the tcp/ip patch. So, I removed AVG from my box and now I'm good to go

Shit flies son...shit flies.....

Can someone provide additional sources for finding available proxies?

Also, using the default list, I get something like
Seen Proxies: 2790
Working Proxies: 26

I don't get huge number of working proxies like others, is this normal?

Another question, when I load the proxy list into megapinger, does megapinger rotate the proxies?
Also, what would be a safe number of pings per proxy? 10k pings per proxy perhaps?

Sorry for all the noob questions, I am new to this

i get the same thing at the moment even when using the mac version.

I fired up Proxyfinder yesterday and since have been receiving a new tcp/ip outbound connection error. I checked everything and I'm still getting it. It was working pretty decent...was getting around 40 working proxies.

WTF?

Have you updated anything on your computer or changed anything? PM me if you've still got a problem.

What config settings does everyone use for good results?

I have been using:

#proxyfinder config
proxythreads=100
monitorthreads=5
minutesperupdate=10
outputpath=proxies.txt
email= X
callbackurl= X
proxystaleseconds=600
proxytimeout=10

anything to change?

I see that you require python 2.6 but my server has FC8 OS and my hosting company says there are no RPMS to upgrade. I have python 2.5.1 do have any ideas what I can do to get it to work on my server?
