Promoting a coupon for free

Hi there,

How would you promote a free coupon for free? Most coupon websites want either a link on my home page or to connect the coupon through an affiliate network.

The coupon grants 3 months of free membership in a dating site. That's it. We're just trying to draw some more users.

yes - no affiliate site/coupon site will want to promote it since they wont see any profit from your free offer .
i would take it social , use facebook,twitter,youtube - buy some hits from fivver and try to get it rolling

No one's going to help you if they won't be getting some sort of a commission for it. Since it's all up to you, use all the free resources you've got. Web 2.0, social networks, social bookmarks, articles, blogs, videos.... all that will add up to some nice exposure.

If you have current users, ask them to post a link to the coupon on their personal blog. Maybe in return for some additional account features.
