The transaction started off like any other transaction .. when i messaged Soner my very first message was that i was from wickedfire and interested in his services.
The first thing that caused me pause was when he stated i had to pay an extra 10 dollars for copyright, even tho that is never mentioned on this thread or his website. I let that pass as he was telling me in advance and i still felt that i was getting a fair price if the work was good (although it did seem like he was artificially inflating the price). So i sent $30 dollars for a deposit on the logo and began waiting for the first concept.
I was not happy with the first concept, and i blamed myself because i believe its my responsibility to convey my vision correctly, and i dont think i did. I explained this to him and apologized. He then made a second concept and i still wasnt happy. At this point i decided i did not want to waste his time or mine and offered to just take the second concept and end the deal. Soner sensed i guess i wasnt exactly happy and offered to do another concept.. this version was much better and i even went ahead and ordered a business card and letterhead design.
He finished those two items and we were finishing the transaction. At this point he asked me to leave a review, after coming back to the thread to leave the review, i reread the thread, i realized the price he quoted me wasn't the last price quoted in the thread nor had he made any updates saying he was reverting to the pricing in his original post. his last quote was for 1 logo for 30 or 2 logos for 50, i was surprised that he had quoted me only 50% off when later in the thread he posted changes to the pricing without no updates reverting it back.. i brought this to his attention and he simply claimed he had posted .. well i checked 3 times and the last quote is a logo for 30 and i paid 60 ..
It is my expectation as a customer that i will be given the same price from beginning to end, the reason why i didn't realize the discrepancy before simply was due to me being busy and hadn't read the entire thread the first time. However i don't think its my responsibility to make sure i am being quoted the prices that are quoted here.
At the end of the day, i paid 100 dollars for a logo and business card and letterhead and im basically satisfied with the overall quality and experience.
I suggest to Soner and anyone providing services to make sure you quote the prices you are quoting here, and if you make a mistake, eat it ..
Hopefully Soner takes this as a learning experience, i know i did ..
I would like to mention Soner seems nice and honest and eager to please. Other than the details i mentioned, overall i think Soner has potential and and will likely try his services again.
I would need someone who got approx. 1k posts with 60-70 itrader so people can trust him
