While the new owner of WFreview might be a hell of a coder, he might very well be a D bag. Perhaps he has no idea what he got himself into...

Does anyone have this? Work ok?

(I'm asking because it's for sale with no docs, demo, or screenshot!)

I was about to buy it today because I THINK I can use some of the features... but that's pure speculation because the features dont really seem to be listed anywhere.

He knows absolutely nothing about affiliate marketing and possibly marketing in general. He really needs to get on here and start reading to at least understand what his customer base's mindset and needs are, seeing as he's selling the "WF" review plugin. Its a little different from the Ruby On Rails nerds.

You could probably drop him an email, he's friendly and responsive. I'll probably be getting the plugin at some point, but not just yet, too busy with other stuff to be getting new toys.

Not trolling, but just to clarify...

The "WF" in WFReview is not Wickedfire. It was named that because a lot of wickedfire members contributed requirements, but it was never associated in any way with Wickedfire.com beyond using Wickedfire.com as a marketing channel. Just wanted to get that little mini-miranda in there!

I bought it. I installed it today and it was a pretty easy install. Straight forward. I noticed a couple small bugs, posted them on the forum and Lucas fixed them within 2 hours and uploaded an updated version.
I gave the guy some shit initially when he tried to charge existing users of wfreview $49 for the new upgrade, since they were supposed to be free upgrades for life. He finally recanted and issued upgrades for existing members. Other than that, he seems to know what he's doing and is quick with support, but I agree, he needs to get some (any) kind of information up about his new plugin.
I bought it on faith, and that it was only $55 with the discount. Looks like a promising plugin.

Hello, this is Lucas Carlson, I am sorry that I have not posted screen shots and demo videos but I have been working on various small bugs in the code and plan on posting the content about the plugin tonight. I was not acquainted with WickedFire before and am still getting up to speed so I hope you can be patient with me, but I will have the content up shortly.

Completely off topic, but the new features list for WF Review 4.0 looks like a fucking joke compared to the other competition now. This guy might have experience being a "programmer" (i.e., someone who writes books about programming) but as for actually writing useful software, I'm not so sure.

We'll see Refrozen, I have owned WFReview for a few days now. Once I get warmed up the competition will be left in the dust.

You been playing with MyReviewPlugin too? Sidenote, SmartTools 3.0 kicks fucking ass. Local leadgen review coming at some point, when mfers quit giving me work.

How so?

I thought you bought it back?

Damn, I didn't get the email for the free upgrade. I thought about that too since when I originally bought it there were free lifetime upgrades.

so i'm confused. do i get the premium placement plugin for free since i'm an existing member or not?

i checked the members area and it still wants to charge me.
