PPV and PPC on the same domain, is it safe?

Is it safe to use the same domain for Adwords and PPV (like Zango, or whoever offers that kind of stuff now)?

If a domain is promoted using adware/popunders/etc, can it end up on some shitlist and subsequenty get low qs on adwords?

I don't see how Google would find out, unless someone reported your domain.

But why wouldnt you be safe rather than sorry. Just buy another domain for PPV.

Cross-domain tracking is a bit more difficult, and I don't like using tracker pixels if I can avoid them. That's the only reason I'm reluctant to proceed with a separate domain for PPV.

Years ago, I used Zango to promote my shit in addition to using Adwords for the same domain. Once Google implemented the first iteration of QS, that domain got fucked.

Of course, I don't know if the slap was because of PPV or not, but my other domains were relatively well off.
