I just moved, and I'm in the process of totally overhauling two rooms into studios. Here's my studiomentary so far:

nice houses itt. danc, where did you find your place? renting/owning? ive been looking forever for a flat (or whatever its called) like that - high roofs, brick, etc - but just cant find em in seattle.
Get a video card with 3+ outputs. I just bought a Radeon HD 6850 that supports 3 monitors at once, 2 DVI and 1 display port.

Some people don't understand how 2 can be better than 1 since they can only use/look at 1 at a time.
I am planning to add a 3rd soon for both work and eyefinity gaming.
I can't currently have as much information as I would like to have all visible at once on my dual 24's.

Hrmm i guess good point. For me at least, since i am a serial 'window maximizer' three 19' monitors would be better for me than two '26 monitors.

Mine is a bit different, I've a 1k~ foot shop behind our house that is my 'office'. Still working on it, just moved into it a couple months ago. Pool table, projector, qbert (I LOVE qbert) are in the outside area, and my workspace is in the inner office.
I keep my systems inside the ass ugly cabinets in the inner office, super quiet that way.
