This is where the majic happens

Well here's a few pics of the new desk I built. Nothing fancy, but it's exactly what I wanted but couldn't find anywhere. Just some 3/4 MDF with a 2 layer birch plywood top wrapped with hardwood trim, all painted satin black. The tower sits on a platform that slides out for access. The black vents give it an industrial look. I'm kinda stoked with how those came out. I'm going to build something of a similar style for the back wall below the painting, but probably with a shelf or some doors for more storage.

My new office at home isn't very big. I used to have it set up as a home recording studio, but all of the bass traps and sound treatment has been removed and it's how you see it below. Still need to get a few more things (at least one big monitor), but it's getting there. I do have the golf course view..so that's nice.

That was pretty fast, and impressive! WTG and good luck.

BTW I hear sounds coming from inside your office.. <listening closely>... it's your monitors.. they're saying they can't wait to grow up one day. LOL

Yeah no kidding..A nice 24" was in the plans until my comp started acting like a flippin jackass. So $600 later I'm the proud owner of a kick ass HP that's fast as shit. I'll spring for the new monitor next month...I'z gots other billz ta pay.

Forget about your desk (although very nice) that delta table saw kicks ass, I use small task force that I have to keep my foot on the leg so it does not tip over......

$600?
Is it the HP Pavilion Elite with Intel® Core™ i7 920, 6Gb Ram DDR3 and a 1Tb hard drive? Looks like it.
If it is, a have paid 1000 euros here in Portugal.

Yeah that thing is such a good saw. I can't see ever needing another table saw for a long time. 3hp and will cut through just about anything.

At $1000 Euros, sounds like I should buy a dozen and put them on Ebay Portugal and make $800 bucks a pop.

There are quite a few operators in BC. Who did you work for?

Hey do you have any more information about companies in BC that need a helping hand? I've been playing poker online for over 5 years now (and playing lots too) and know everything about it. I'm in Victoria, but would love to work in Vancouver if possible. Any information you can provide would be great. I'd even go elsewhere if the opportunity was right. Thanks!

By the way, your pics are awesome.
