Post pics of your ride

Was just looking back in this thread and noticed how I posted back in 2012 about acquiring the 5 series BMW. This was the pic I posted back then, the first day I acquired it:

Now...slightly less than two years later I find myself in a better situation with this delivery yesterday:

It is always nice to see yourself progressing through life, hopefully in the positive direction. I am sorry for using up the last 5-7 posts in this thread to post about my car, but I am sincerely ecstatic about the purchase. The Audi R8 was something that I idolized when I was younger. I remember playing my Need for Speed game, and unlocking the R8 as a car. It was always one of those cars that took a shit load of play money or stars to unlock, but once you did it had the performance and great looks in the game. To finally be able to materialize my emotions back then means so much to me right now.

Congrats man! Really love hearing stories like this, especially from those that don't let their successes get to their head. Respect.

lulz, worshipping pics of guys in front of rented cars who dont let successes go to their heads. seriously?

Others posting their rides motivated me to post mine.

It's been a real bumpy road for me in the past 2 years, especially in the last several months, but thankfully I've managed to make progress.

This was 2 years ago when I first bought the Can-Am Spyder while in college next to my one-of-a-kind Porsche 986 GT3. Kept the Spyder and sold the Porsche for a profit.

Got this Denali for a very good deal and stayed with it for about a year then sold it for a profit.

And this is my current ride. I bought this AMG package C-Class less than a year ago and think it's probably the best option for a young entrepreneur as a daily driver. Highly recommended over the E or S class if you don't have a family.

Amazed at all the nice rides on here. I've got a lot of respect for all the hustlers in this community. Without the support we give each other both online and offline, we just wouldn't be the distinguished tight-knit crew that WF is known for. Appreciative to be a part of this wolf pack.

Wait, you're claiming the Audi is a rental?

If so, let's put money where our mouth is. We'll pick a moderator here as a third party, I'll submit the title and bill of sale - if it all checks out, then you'll pay me $1,000. If I do not follow up with the request, or the papers I submit have any sort of suspicion, then I'll send you $1,000 the same day.

It is as easy as that.

Love the rides. How did you manage to sell the Porsche for a profit? I figure you did quite a bit of after market modification to it and were able to sell it for higher than your initial cost to acquire + any additional modifications?

By the way, take a look at the SL63 AMG. I have a good buddy that runs a dealership and currently has this one for sale at $66,990:

I had the chance to drive it for a few hours and be a passenger for two days. The car is amazing and sounds like a beast. I really haven't heard an exhaust quite as good as in the SL63 (disregarding the murcielago)

He currently has it for sale at about $67k. I love that it is a hardtop convertible, and the interior is top notch. Even in Miami this car was getting quite a bit of looks with the roof down. It definitely separates itself on the road with its looks and sound.

The main reason was that I bought it at auction as-is with no guarantees. I literally made the buying decision within a few seconds of seeing the car at the live streaming auction. Due to my knowledge of the auto business, it was much easier to take this risk versus someone who knows nothing about cars.

My choice of aftermarket modifications also helped raise the value. I was the first to receive that custom body style on the 986 and those wheels were typically reserved only for Carreras, but we managed to install them. They made a world of a difference.

That SL63 AMG is beautiful. At that price and in Miami, they should have no trouble selling it. The exhaust sound and power on AMG's are incredible.

My ride is so long it wouldn't fit on the screen. Rest assured tho, it would put Ron Jeremy to shame 8==========================================D :)

Lol MGrunin, do you always spend on depreciating assets? Buy some land...Bend OR, Walla Walla WA, Payson AZ. Or do you want to hit bottom a 3rd/4th time?

I was just about to give you a long answer on various investments I have been placing money into but decided against it because I do not want a) Come off as bragging b) Make this a "me" thread.

Hah, just that easy? Good job on trying to save face there buddy. I didn't say a single thing here that should have come out as douchebaggery. I didn't create a new thread to show a car, I posted in a relevant topic. I answered questions asked by others as truthfully as possible. I would love for you to point out where I over stepped the boundaries and came off as a douche.

no douchey pics of you and cars in this thread? um...LULZ.

The more the answer, the more ridiculous you come off to be.

This is a thread to show off your rides, I showed off my rides. It seems to me that I pissed you off in that I included myself in the car pictures? Kill me.

Do you mind telling me how I came of as a douche in the pictures of myself? I probably should have rocked a pink trench coat and a chain with my face on it, right?
