You could do like I do and use the Sprint SERO plan pay only 30 a month for unlimited EVDO and use Opera. Anything you can't get to work right you use the free logmein.com mobile app which gives you complete control of your home pc from your PDA.. just like being at home anywhere you have cell phone coverage.

Stay away from this "technological masterpiece" known as the iPhone if you want MMS, Video Recording, Bluetooth that isn't crippled to headsets only, or even just a basic Cut & Paste function.

beside the fact that you can't have applications (yet) i don't see how MMS, video recording (at the quality of a phone), listening music through bluetooth headphones (and not talking about bt headsets cause it perfectly support them) have to do with affiliate marketing.

on the other side if you wanna talk about a revolutionary phone internet browser (hopefully it will support flash soon), i can could understand...

iPhone FTW. No doubt in my mind. It's a solid, durable, and technological masterpiece. AT&T used to be the best service I have ever used until they switched to cingular so I moved to verizon. I really dislike verizon so I am going to try moving back to AT&T now that they have changed back from cingular and see how it goes.

agreed. i went the treo route. the browser is awful. then i "upgraded" to the voyager. the voyager sucks as well, not at all what they hype it to be.

now I have an iphone and so far im much more satisfied. cant wait for some juicy apps to come out

with all the noice around here it's hard to hear...

HTC Universal here - nice VGA screen, but bit chunky really and it can struggle when running a few apps (only 64Mb RAM). Might get a TyTn II next, shame the screen is smaller though. HTC make great stuff - def recommend them.

If the iPhone had 3G it might be good now they are (kinda) opening it up to developers, and Android is def worth watching for the future but at the mo Windows Mobile is prob the most flexible OS available.

You can change the registry settings to make mobile IE show itself as IE7 btw.. or just use Opera or Minimo.

I use the Nokia E61 which is excellent.
It's a business phone with full QWERTY keyboard (even ctrl/shift keys for copy and standard paste), full email support for many accounts (push/pop/impa), an excellent browser and more.

It runs on Symbian 3rd edition which will let you run stuff like Putty (ssh telnet), FTP apps and so much more.

It also has a BIG screen and watching video on it is smooth and crystal clear. :)

agreed. the best there is for europeans with 3g. i just couldn't justify an iphone without 3g, it's shit slow. the e61 is slow enough though at other non-web stuff, shitty processor or something. and one big problem with putty - no tab key to complete filenames.

i just bought the asus eee pc as well and it fucking *rocks*. coolest thing i've bought in a while. cheap and cheerful, quick, firefox, ssh obviously. all for about 250 euro. perfect for flights

You should've waited a few more weeks for the new ones with the 9" LCD.

Ok buddy..

Anyways, I don't see any cons.

Remote desktop to your pc from your phone, skype, microsoft office, ftp/ssh/html, full keyboard, aim/icq/msn, email, music, movies, sprint tv. You can pretty much do anything you do on your computer from your phone...

Gonna sound stupid here but how do you login to secure sites ie. adwords etc. on IE mobile ??
