I'm "investigating" launching this type of service for affiliates and wanted to see if there have been any success stories so far.

No other major back end for pay per call is going to come to the market any time soon. Sad, because Ring Revenue still has some big flaws for both advertisers and affiliates alike, and because some of the larger networks on Ring Revenue don't put enough effort into new advertisers on the platform, offers come and go very quickly. The major players such as CJ still have basically no clue what they're doing in the pay per call realm, and it shows. When major phone-based advertisers (in numerous industries) shut down programs in the networks due to fraud, mismanagement, and overall poor experiences, you know there's a problem.

Private or exclusive deals are really the way to go, but when a niche player leaves, there's really nothing that will fill the void. I'm sitting on so much volume that can't be monetized since the major player(s) left and others don't want to touch the idea of pay per call because they saw that even the large players (that may not be willing to do direct deals, unfortunately) couldn't make it work.
