What are edu/gov profile Links?

This is how my career in wickedfire started. Edu/Gov profiles was the first service which i offered here. Quality: I got exactly what I was told I would. 100 links from 50 edu/gov sites. Some nice homepage PR links here with PR 6,7,8.. Just hoping they won't get deleted. The work was clearly done manually as I could see avatar pictures here and there. The edu domains are of universities across the world, so it gives your links some nice GEO IP diversity. It's obviously too early to see any SERP changes but after I run these links through an indexing tool and get these indexed, I'm confident it will have a nice effect on my SERPS..1 profile is already indexed, btw! The price is a bit high though IMHO - I wouldn't mind paying $30 but if it were $20, I'd consider it a bargain..!

Overall: 4/5 rating.

Speed: 5/5. Speed was actually very fast. It was just a slight bit over 24 hours so no issues with the speed and turnaround time. Maybe it may get higher if he gets more orders, but from what I have noticed, the turnaround time is incredibly speedy and fast. 5/5

Communication: The communication was good. OP replied to all messages within a timely manner. No issues here. 5/5

Price: Slightly expensive in my opinion. I could probably get these cheaper elsewhere but if these are quality links (which we will see below), then this is worth it. People who do not like spending a lot for something they can get cheaper would probably not like this. 4/5

Quality: Very simple and clear report with all links of the exact locations of the backlinks. The signatures had 2 backlinks of the same URL .. which may be a bit odd but anyhow, it was okay. (I've never seen anyone do 2 of the same URL/ANCHOR in the same signature). I got an overdelivery. So no complaints about the links! The PR of the highest domain was 9 which is also good. 4/5

Overall Review: 4/5 - I would definitely buy these and also make sure the links get indexed. Once they get indexed, these links can seriously be a powerful little boost to SERP's.

In response the the comments right above - I ordered the links, plus the lower quality links to the links - then ran everything through an indexer.

I would never really assume a bunch of stand alone profile links would change the universe by themselves.

I gave this stuff a little time to jell. I've made 2 orders which covered 4 keyword/urls on 2 domains.

Obvious success was on a medium - slightly hard competition,well paying CPC term. The domain is already fairly strong - and the page had prior links - but I did nothing new. It moved from 2 to 1 - where it had been stuck before. IMO - that alone was worth it.

The hard term where I was really stuck at #3 - didn't budge - but again it didn't go down either - so it's all good. This term takes effort just to keep it at #3 because it has slid down a few notches before.

The medium competition keyword on a weaker domain didn't move in Google, though Yahoo/Bing moved it up to 2 or 3 - but for some reason, Google hates this domain - though Yahoo/Bing Love it. Yeah, I've read a bunch of stuff about that - and checked my GA but still don't really get it. It's an older domain too....just a dog in Google right now for mysterious reasons.

Anyway, I am satisfied that this was good for some extra link diversity and a nudge - which is what I thought it would do.
