So I was explaining focal points to by g/f on sat, and came across this landing page.
At first glance, it looks well constructed serves its purpose. After further review and actually thinking of the user, I believe most people can sniff through the b/s. Especially in the online dating arena.
The process:
1.) We searched for females seek females - (g/f is freak)
2.) Results came up with guys & Girls - not what I searched for (results - all older engineers / architects )
3.) All the women - retail sales, yoga instructor, and younger
I'm guessing the theory behind the landing page is that all people are stupid and no one will have a clue that this page is b/s.
