I actually like Ron Paul the most... I'd pick him over anyone else with their hat in the ring today.
So I wish your campaign success, honestly. I just can't believe for a heartbeat that you could make a difference in the outcome of the election even if you got every last person in the USA to literally vote for RP.
Your corporate overlords wouldn't appreciate that.
You might be right. I can tell you this though, I lived in Brevard county Florida during the last primary, which miles wise (but not population density wise is the largest county in the state.) We knocked on about 25% of the doors of so-called super voters, hung signs on telephone poles, handed out literature at gun shows, and other places where conservatives might hang around, did a lot of sign waving events and other things as well. When it came to knocking on doors there were only about 5 of us that were consistent. Sign waving we usually got 10-15 people to show up.
With those 15 active people our county had the 2nd largest percent for Ron Paul in the state. 6% isn't a lot, but considering the fact that prior to about the middle of that year, no one had even heard of RP this was a pretty huge accomplishment.
I do think the henchmen are pulling the strings though- they are really really good at manipulating the public.
That being said, you don't think it'd at least be fun to get beat Mitt Romney in Google for his own keyword. Maybe it won't sway any voters, but maybe it will. And people who do support Ron Paul typically talk about him so much that everyone they know agrees to vote for him just so they'll shut up.
Plus, it seems like you're pretty good at SEO stuff from what I've seen, so we could probably use the extra help, even if it's just a couple thousand links a day or whatever.
