Obama Decides Not to Release OBL Death Photos

Tease them by not releasing something giving them the hope that he's hiding something, then BAM release it and make them all look like morons.

If you honestly think that they're going to lie about a guy being dead when his organization is willing to turn ANYTHING we do wrong into propaganda then you have NO understanding of how national security is assessed and maintained...

Then Bush would of bragged like it was the second coming of Christ and everyone would of celebrated sooner...

Also, Obama knows that releasing the photos will just embolden any potential terrorists to be a martyr, putting a face to the cause like Joan D'Arc.

Letting him die of natural causes would have been a huge slap in the face to the families of 9/11

However, not releasing the photos is a huge slap in the face of, and probably a good laugh at the expense of, conspirtards.

10 years of war, thousands of innocents dead. Many weapon and oil related folks increased their net worth by hundreds of millions.

Real or not, seems like the idea of an archenemy, a SINGLE human being, might be enough to keep doing war for an entire decade (not mentioning the WoMD bullshit).

Bin Laden was terrorist, and is good news if hes dead, even if he only managed to kill one single innocent man. However, the ones responsible for letting the attacks happened, military and gov, will never go to jail (not mentioning the pentagon attack, the most secure building in the world, and not a single tape of the plane coming.)

This is not justice, this is business and power.....

The U.S. will always need a Hitler to make war against. To your point, there's way too much money at stake. A lot of it. That's why we're always at war.

The Bin Laden episode played itself out. We need someone new. Oh, hey, there's Gaddafi...

He makes a good Hitler (for now). Ahmadinejad's crazy, and Kim Jong-il is even worse. So what if we once called Gaddafi a friend. It wasn't that long ago that Bin Laden was (allegedly) an ally.

By Thanksgiving, or even summer, nobody will even care that Bin Laden is gone. After all, we'll have a new Hitler to fight.

If I was in charge I would have taken him alive, but say that I had killed him and had him thrown out to sea.

Why? Because this guy has too much valuable info to just shoot him.

Torture him for all the info he has for the rest of his pitiful life and then put a bullet between his eyes when he is totally broken.

This solves all issues.

Not saying they did that but it would be what I would do.
