Are you trying to tell me that both sides of the isle have not been instrumental in giving trillions of dollars to banks and insurance companies in the last four years in the name of stimulating the economy? If so then I'm at a loss for words.
i don't have time to pull the appropriate sections of the bill or explain this in detail. obamacare mandates a health care purchase or a financial penalty. To that extent you could say it takes over health care, if like you it is necessary to argue that point for ideological reasons. But in so doing it compels privatization. It's essentially another form of state-mandated asset transfer from public hands to financial services. A pretty good example of corporate fascism. Thus the current constitutional debate in twenty something states.
An exhaustive understanding of communism indeed. I thought you'd spin this differently. Thought you'd go for the 'communists like everything to come through the government so they can control it' angle. If that was true would they not want to increase funding to these programs for their own selfish purposes, rather than decrease them?
And if they don't care how poorly the programs work, is that to say they're not concerned with holding power through popular support? You seem very concerned that there are so many useful idiots like me out there who would support the communist invasion. but if these programs we love so much start to fail, won't I fall out of love with HuffPost and Obama?
um. that's not an answer. but you already know that.
You've got it all backwards my good man. Let me explain to you in simple terms how that stuff works.
Wall Street and the Fortune 100 buy and blackmail politicians. They place stooges in advisory positions of power in government. They have large lobbying arms. They help write policy. And they own the major media. They work in concert to strip wealth from 99% of the population.
They have to lie to both parties to accomplish this, so they've become really good at telling fanciful stories of economic promises to both parties, appealing to both the libertarian spirit of the right and the sympathetic nature of the left.
That facade of left and right that you buy into disappears in their meetings where they write the theatrical scripts for popular consumption on the nightly news and daily talk radio. They have one goal, and although they may accomplish it through different means their objectives are essentially the same. And they're so good at it that they have people like you thinking there's a difference between a clown like Bush and a clown like Obama.
They're so good they've got you twisting your little panties up in a bunch over a word like communism, a deliberately constructed economic theory that was sponsored by the same London bankers who on one side of the fake political spectrum later sponsored fascism on the other.
