Saw this on the news a few minutes ago. Looks like that middle blue light thing is coming from the ground could be causing it? Definitely looks fake, but they said bunches of people were calling newspapers over there about it.
 
The above pic, I believe, is a composite (artist's rendering). If you watch the actual video(s) on the page it's not anywhere as clean and perfect that it.

There were lots of independent photos and videos, astronomers saw it and can't account, and their weather service acknowledges it but has no clue.
 
Obama is scheduled to visit Norway for his BS Nobel Prize shortly right? Hmm...

I've been staring at that Google video and the symmetry on the spiral seems too perfect for this to be a missile or comet, I dunno but I'm fascinated.

I just checked out GOP (Godlike Productions Forum) where all the loons and doomsdayers hang out. Already an 18 page thread on this topic - lol.

Lol yeah, I haven't even checked, but the first thing I thought was that they'd be jizzing their pants over this.
 
Guys, the pic in the OP is real, but was taken with a very long shutter speed... The full effect, as seen in the picture, wasn't seen with the human eye, just a small ring and blue light.

With a long shutter, it shows what the light looked like for several minutes.

Just wanted to clear that one up.
 
Sorry, but from what I gathered that picture is an "artists rendition" - fake in other words.

Huh? It was clearly visible in the videos, and those aren't long shutter speeds.
