Noob SEO/backlink question

This is probably going to win the "most retarded question of the day" award, but I don't know the answer - so I'm hoping you guys can help.

Do multiple backlinks on the same site count? Maybe not the same page, but the same domain. Like say I make a bunch of Squidoo lenses that link back to the same site, and each has anchor text for the same keywords. Do I get more juice, or does it not matter past the first link?

They still count, but it is recommended to breakup your anchor text.
