No idea what host to use.. Sick of HostGator

You wont be disappointed. They are rock solid.

Just changed to knownhost after everybody was beating me on the head for not chosing them...

Setup is a bit convoluted, but support is great, speed is good. A++

Do recommend.

Best host rackspace -Non else because you don't need CDN or any other shit. Because It already have CDN and Load balance. And it's so fast//

I would choose a VPS over shared hosting any day. You're more in control but the downside is they're a little more difficult to setup. Get a VPS and install Zpanel on it! If you don't know how learn you won't regret it.

According to my knowledge, Leapswitch networks provide super quality services and very cheap prices with 24/7 technical / sales support, 30 mins ticket response & phone support worldwide locations.

I really enjoy the fact that in all forums there are threads like this one - where original question was answered long ago and every new member with 10+ posts advetises themselves.

I was just thinking the same thing and I really enjoy the fact that in all forums there are threads like this one - where original question was answered long ago and every new member with 10+ posts advetises themselves then a real web hosting company comes into the picture to settle things down.

I have never used hostgator, but I see more and more people saying it sucks. Man what happened to them.

After being acquired by EIG their procedures changed a lot and they lost the attitude they were famous for. Customers are numbers and not people to them. Well, tickets are still processed and replied, but something changed about it...

While many people don't bother as long as their domains/hosting work - many do freak out as they are used to "being served appropriately" and HostGator support does not go an extra mile any more.

Yeah, and this real hosting company should start promoting themselves everywhere, yeah? In fact, we are posting on many popular forums - and nearly all of them have such kinds of threads. And some of said threads are hundreds of pages long. And newbies post in them because they pop up in popular threads list, because newbies post on them.

One of the most popular topics for such threads are - "Hostgator sucks", then goes "What is the best hosting provider/domain registrar?", then goes "Namecheap VS Godaddy".

Seeing this thread was like meeting an old friend - you always know what you will see.

TurnKeyInternet has good hosting packages with c-class IP's for your website but you have to pay more for these services

Over the last few months I have seen many posts like this one about hostgator which is a bit surprising as they are one of the more commonly known hosting providers but I guess you should now move to some new web hosting company which has recently established and looking to get clients and make sure to provide their best services so they don't lose any clients as they can't afford it since they are rather new in this business and not wanna lose a single client unlike a company who already have thousands of clients and struggling to give proper attention to each of these clients.

Despite all the negative feedback, I still think HG is one of the contenders out there. But their tech support really needs to improve.

Been using Hostgator since, then transferred to Godaddy (totally sucks) then went back to HG. I think I like HG better though I haven't tried other hosting companies. Shared hosting is good unless you don't mind switching cpanels every now and then esp if you have multiple domains.
