Newish no-www standard

i always 301 the not www of my domains to www.domain.com. I see the point they're making, but I don't think i'm ready to conform just yet... what about you?

I think domains look cleaner without the www. Having it is kind of redundant.

yeah, I agree about the redundancy part. It's definitely not necessary anymore. But everybody is just so accustomed to seein' it, might phreak some non-geeks out.

I'm not hip enough to do this. I always use the www and I force others to do the same.

It can make a differece to serps if you use both, so it is a good ides to mod rewrite one way or the other

Using mod_rewrite is probably the most difficult option. It can usally be done through your dns server, or very easily within IIS if you run windows.

I've played around with mod_rewrite when using Carp. It's not too difficult.
