I was reading the thread asking how much we make a day. Proud of the dudes making it big, and small alike. Surprised by the number of folks who weren't making jack. Figured instead of ranting there I would do it here.

First off if you are a truly ghetto shameless loser who can't afford a few domains and some hosting stop reading and go to digital point. If you make enough that you aren't a broke ass little bitch do whatever you want.

If you are looking for a way to make xx in x days - just go shoot yourself.

O.K. - Still here?

If you don't have the money to break into PPC (it's tough at first) you don't have to stay a poor little bitch. You also don't have to try to make every single web property something huge.

It's a cumulative effect. If your sites make a dollar a day and you have 100 of them - well your making a 100 a day minus hosting and 800 or so a year for domain names.

Sounds daunting when you are starting out right? I have to buy 800 domains, do all this work, etc... Shut the hell up - if you put up 100 sites, network them together properly, and promote them smart you are going to make a whole lot more than a dollar a day per site unless you are a dumbass.

The catch is that you have to put in the work... yes work. PPC isn't easy don't kid yourself. Building a website network I think is easier...I focus on one thing - one site - one network at a time. Don't wait for profits - just keep going. Keep building links up.... keep going with your 'plan' to dominate the world one little website at a time. Hell my dream is to be on the first page of google for every keyword in the dictionary....

Eventually you will check your affiliate stats and go - shit when did that happen. I'm going to go buy a car.... or put 30k into testing some serious PPC since you know what the fuck sells at this point.

Enough of us have been laying out the groundwork for you for long enough you don't have an excuse. You are broke because you are lazy, you don't put the effort in, and you aren't willing to learn.

So where do you start? First off stay the hell away from zip submits, ring tones, viagra, and hoodia. You don't know enough to play in that game yet. Pick a place like linkshare, or commission junction and start pushing real tangible goods. You are going to be learning to build your pages, put up blogs, link, etc... you got enough shit on your plate to try and compete with the big boys.

Let's say you pick a toaster from walmart - you get 10 people a day to your site LOOKING TO BUY THAT DAMN TOASTER. Sure your commission sucks but you don't have to convert them - they are searching for that damn toaster because they want to buy it --- who the fuck is cheaper than walmart. Your site makes a big whopping 1.12 in commission every other day. Guess what - that's over 15 per month for a site that probably took 2 hours to build and an hour or two to build links up to. (let's just say it's 15 in income per month)

Over the course of 12 months that 3 hours is going to turn into $180 - or $60 bucks an hour.

If I told you I would pay you 60 dollars an hour to come work for me what would you say? What if I told you some of your hours would be a bust - and some would be 450 or 1000 per hour?

It's life man - but the good news is that every single site you put up gives you one more place to link from, one more place to earn from daily....

Before you know it a limo will be cruisin into your trailer park to take you to Shoemoney's house for tea and biscuits - just don't stop, and for god's sake get started.

QFT.

Now get the fuck off your ass and get going.

Fucking awesome post. I'm going to get my noob ass outta here now and start working.

I disagree with you here on the premise that you are assuming you know where they are driving traffic from. If you're brand new to PPC, obviously don't jump head first into Ringtones or pils, you will get slaughtered. But if you can drive traffic indirectly, think outside of the box, there is a lot of money to be made.

i.e. Say you create a blog for senior dating at seniors-dating.blogpost.com. After you write some great, informative articles you are bound to start picking up organic traffic. Throw some viagra or cialis offers on there. I'm sure they'll do well.

Likewise if you have a fansite dedicated to kanye west. Write articles, stay up to date with news, etc. eventually you will be bringing in organic traffic. So promote Kanye ringtones.

Yup too many people spend way too much time bitching and complaining and not enough time to research and create. One thing you will find with the bitchers is they are professional researchers and professional forum readers and posters. Some prefer it that way for example professionals students come to mind here ... it is a way of life.

Once you get to know why they are not making money it is for the following reasons.

IQ is room temp.

Spend more time pissing and moaning then applying information and ideas.

Want everything handed to them on a silver platter.

Don't want to do the work but want to do the complaining.

Think that a minimum wage job would be a great second income. If you can not be profitable in 3months online then probably best to get that second job and bitch about affiliate marketing and how it is a scam.

Have piss poor time management skills for example think that reading forums all day will make them money as opposed to applying ideas shared in forums.

Ok Im done pissing and complaining about non performers, professional forum posters and such ....

So if you put everything on a positive note and do everything opposite of what I was complaining about then you are on your way to being profitable online in less than 3 months ... with the help of this forum.

I agree with the "GET THE FUCK OFF YOUR ASS" sentiment.

I LOLed at your math, though.

"You don't need money, just buy 100 domains" - err... 100 domains is still about 900 US$, is it not?

So for all the newbs:
Start with all the money you can part with, but leave some set aside for later investments.

So, for example, start with 10 domains and go from there. Always work, always reinvest.

Your 100 percent right - however, since this was really directed to the folks making a few bucks a day or nothing, why send them down that competitive route?

Regardless - if they did something on those topics they WOULD still be doing something and be somewhere in a few months.

Hehe - yep it is. I never said you don't need ANY money. And since they won't be developing all those domains at once they don't need to buy them at once. I've helped A LOT of folks get going - and for the first few months a handful of domains and sub domains usually does the trick. They will have 'trickles' coming in pretty fast, and a lot more once seo and age kicks in... I don't think most people would have a problem affording it over a few months period if they work it.

Hell if you are totally broke you can still do this stuff with squidoo, hub pages, blogger blogs, etc... just better if you do your own stuff and use the parasite hosts for what they are meant for.

this 100 domains making a buck a day seems pretty silly to me.. if you are a noob focus on ONE thing and make that ONE thing make $100 or whatever a day for you, then move onto the next niche. No point being a jack of all niches and master of none.

Thats what worked for me.. i went from losing $50 a day on a bunch of shitty niches to $250 profit a day with one campaign, now i have the money to properly test and experiment. And i dont have to manage 100 sites which is a big plus.

That's a worse case scenario man - and I used it as an example to show that even if that's all you make you end up paying for your time.

Emp-

Where the hell are you getting your domains from if you're paying $900 for 100 .com's?!

It should be more like $685-$720 range (including ICANN fee).

Yeah, search for "godaddy.com" in google and click on their ad at the top for:
"[SIZE=-1]GoDaddy.com $6.95 Domain Name with Email Free #1 Overall Best - ICANN Accredited" .

$6.95 Domains from Godaddy. =D
