I am new at this and this is my first site so please...go easy on me. :)

Please feel free to check out my new site, any thoughts or opinions on the site?
Any thoughts on better ways to monetize it?
Is it beneficial to run ads from CPA networks against Google Adsense? I heard that Google frowns on that, true/false?

Although this is my first, I am open to ANY and ALL suggestions/pointers anyone might have.

Whenever I see the default WP theme, I'm immediately turned off. It's more of a personal preference, but to me it shows that you didn't care to get a different theme set up.

This page hit Digg the other day, take a look at it for inspiration: 100 Excellent Free Wordpress Themes.

Secondly, I'd make a few extra pages. About, contact, etc.

I assume your target audience is people looking for advice on macbooks? Or people new to owning macbooks? Maybe throw up a page "How to Buy a MacBook Suited to YOUR Needs" or something a bit more elegant along those lines (of course scatter your aff links around it).
 
I suppose you started this site couple days ago and your still reading wickedfire trying to figure out what to do right? in the mean time, try shove everything onto your site. The content is important, but right now u need alot of pages and long ass posts to make your site look leet.

Get a new theme, try to read the codes and understand what they are for.
I started my own site couple weeks ago, Nintendo XI :: Nintendo News & Scoop. You can feel free to browse it. Is definately not like Jon's crazy blogs where he teaches people how to get familiar with SEO and stuff. But you gotta understand who your audience are and provide them with their needs

Not that I didn't want to take the time to setup a new theme or anything like that. I just thought that this theme followed well along the lines of the apple colors and GUI. I hear what you are saying though, I will look for a new theme...maybe there is one out there that is exactly a 1 off of the apple GUI, if anyone knows of one...I'm open to ideas.

it's been my experience in the short time that I've been here that WF does whatever the fuck WF wants to do...

...hey, shirt idea?! just kidding.
 
Interesting. I actually referred goodnamesaretoo to WF. I figured if he wanted to put up a site, what better place to read and post questions.

You guys ROCK, no seriously, I mean it. On a scale from 1 to 10, YOU are an 11!
