NEW Facebook Ads

Maybe i'm retarded, but I cannot find the scheduler. I want to run my ads from 9am to 9pm for my plumbing service. I can only schedule it for days (end date/time). This means I would have to update it every morning to terminate that same day at 9pm, any ideas?

You mean dayparting? That type of advanced and useless feature is way too much to ask of Facebook. They're more interested in implementing other important and user friendly features like pagination, rewriting their ad disapproval reasons, and live chat. /sarc

first they should be more willing to take our money.
i made ads for different cities (all with the same text and images except other city names) and those i made yesterday were approved and those i made today not.
fuckers over there at fb! :angrysoapbox_sml:

Power corrupts... like the middle-aged 7th grade gym teacher who used to yell at you, 'cuz his wife wouldn't sex him... gotta find an outlet...

or maybe the FB ad team is

So I switched my payments from USD to CAD, all my ads transferred over just fine. Then they decided to disapprove every single ad I had running. (102 ads). WHAT THE FUCK. Jesus I hate this fucking company.

You'd think Facebook would have implemented this since day one, but oh no...it would be too nice.

Someone made a script for this you can use though;

^ there was a warning about this earlier in the thread.

Indeed, it happened to me. A few of my EUR campaigns were approved after the switch, around 5%, but the suggested bids were much higher than the suggested bids in the USD campaigns. So I paused every campaign and forgot about it. I unpaused all my USD campaigns, but noticed the new $50 daily limit. I emailed affiliates@facebook.com about it and a few days later they increased my daily limit to the old level.

I think every ad reviewer at Facebook should say this fast five times:

I M SOFA KING WE TODD ID
I M SOFA KING WE TODD ID
I M SOFA KING WE TODD ID
I M SOFA KING WE TODD ID
I M SOFA KING WE TODD ID

Yeah, I just unpaused all the originals, they didn't disapprove them. I just don't understand why they make a process seem so easy then purposely fuck with it. I emailed them about it but I'm not holding my breath for a response.

I had a campaign running last week that got an amazing click through rate, so I tried to add another ad to the campaign that was very similar to the previous ads and they disapproved it. I did little else but change the picture, and it was disapproved for no apparent reason. Lots of clicks, but no conversions so this campaign isn't worth further effort.

I am going to try to get a nixed dating offer approved, and will try different things until the credit I got runs out. FB only gets attention from me when I have a credit to use up because it really, really sucks.

almost every click I'm getting is from apps.facebook.com. Anyone else seeing an increase in the number of apps referrers?

converts fine for me. different niches can make that traffic work. nothing can be done about it anyway, so for now figure out how to make it work.

However, everyone should be submitting suggestions to advertising@facebook.com asking for a feature to allow you to bid different amounts for apps traffic.
