NEW Facebook Ads

thats hard to believe considering most of the time just to start traffic you have to bid higher then that and then reduce the bids if you get a high CTR.

Maybe youv'e never spent 1 cent on facebook?

I start at .25 usually. And I can almost always get it down to about .12-.15 just by split testing images/headlines. I never pay any attention to the "suggested" bid.

And for reference, I'm spending about $1k/day on fb.

My traffic is still so screwed up, getting about 10x less then usual. Is everyone else getting usual amount of traffic?

For some campaigns. I think it's just that they don't have an infinite amount of impressions, so everyone is fighting for impressions and they like some other ads better than yours.

That's my theory at least, i have some campaigns with .35 ctr waiting for impressions.

Make sense but i have campaigns waiting for impressions in some pretty tight/ not to competitive demographics.

i was almost certain the minimum bid is .22 CPC.

Yup, still the same. Impressions slowed down dramatically since yesterday afternoon.

I've seen the "Estimated" cost for clicks on facebook steadily increase all day yesterday and today and now its consistently over 60 cents a click for demographics that just a couple days ago were like 45-50 cents. As much as people say the estimated costs don't really matter, I've been having to up my bids constantly just to get any impressions lately on new ads.
