NEW Facebook Ads



Their ad delivery systems is hosed. Some ads will receive 0 impressions while others will receive hundred's of thousands at very low CTRs. It doesn't matter what "kind" of ad it is either, their system has been wacked for a good month on ad delivery and it just getting worse.

Well yea. The system seems extremely weird. You can have ads getting tens of thousands of clicks for weeks and then suddenly it stops. I suggest resubmitting the ad. Very weird system...
 
has anyone noticed users from certain countries just click more? I ran the same exact ad and demo's for an ad and had 3X the ctr in Canada then the UK.
 
WTF?

Looking at my logs, someone at facebook just went through and clicked on every single campaign in my account.

Looks like its manual review time. Wonder if they're looking for grants or acai or some shit or just generally being cunty. At 2 in the morning no less. How about using the time to review pending ads instead?

They already suddenly disapproved a campaign I had running for a week the other day for no reason I can figure out. Looks like more fun times ahead.

not so sure about that, 15/21 ads on my adboard are grants and/or grants/google cash dual offers.

honestly i don't know why anyone is promoting that crap, i couldn't get it to convert with FB traffic.
 
I'm wondering its primarily grant/bizop ads slowing up. There has to be somewhat that FB is categorizing the ads or delivering them aside from just a CPM basis, if they're able to slow up a certain type of ad?

That's a good point. We would all like to believe that fbook is full of newbs who disapprove our ads out of spite, but the reality is they hire a lot of smart, dedicated employees and probably have decent systems in place to run/not run ads as they please.
 
I guess everyone's heading back there. Just submitted some new ads..let's see what happens
 
Anybody not getting impressions these days?
I only got a few impressions yesterday while I have more than 20 campaigns running.

Even bidding $0.50 when suggested bid is $0.05 wouldn't help.

Same experience here the last couple days. I think the 30k/day big dawgs are sucking up all the traffic.
 
Even with my .4 ctr? Fuck I'm paying too. And I want to pay alot more if they would let me...
 
depends on the demographic. they did their night of the long knives thing with the grant ads yesterday afternoon, it helped some..

Same here - new campaigns not even getting that initial burst of impressions when cpc is set to lower end of their recommended range.
doubled the bid and got a impressions went up slowly but not by much.
Frustrating.
 
how are you guys dealing with the bids? do you guys go with suggested bigs and hopes it will lower down or you just mannually enter bids
