NEW Facebook Ads

No this was without the require exact age match and it's waay screwed up. However, when I tick the exact age it seems much more accurate, which is a big plus, lol. Still though - both their estimated reach and also the suggested bid for many identical demos seem a bit random. Good job FB :arcadefreak:

If you don't tick 'require exact match' they include a range of +-5 years.

So when you target males aged 27 you're actually targetting males 23-32.

protip: don't fuck this up on a campaign that requires over 18s traffic only.

Just a quick reminder to check to MAKE SURE your bids
ARE updated after you change them.

I thought I had all my bids changed down and ramped up
the budget, only to have alot of ads still bidding $1.50 per
click and burnt through $250 in 30 minutes.

Don't know what you consider bitchin', my point was just that
Facebook doesn't necessarily change bids when you click the "save"
button, so gotta be careful.

Could happen whether you have a $250 budget or a $250,000 budget.

Dont start editing the next bid or ad name before the first one changes to the new value on the screen to be safe. Although they've gotten a lot better at saving the bids. The advert name however won't save if you start to edit something else before its done saving, whereas bid changes seem to get priority.

If you're bulk editing bids however, then its fairly common for some of them not to save. There is a time out, and anything that doesn't get saved in time reverts to original bid. Best not to edit more than 10 or so bids in one go.

I've got a campaign set up to hit certain State/Provinces in the United States.

So why the hell am I losing a lot of clicks to different Countries?!?!?!?! Anyone know how to rectify this?

Random question here - more for prosper but FB relevant .
anyways

I just set up prosper202 on an SSL . my question is:

Is there a way to hide the domain of prosper202 when people click your FB ads?

I tested it out, and when people click this is what they will see in their address bar:

Facebook ajax shit > my p202 domain > offer/lander

because its an SSL, it sticks out a lot.

I wanna know if anyone here did anything about that?

Dear Facebooks,

Can you please get the stick out of your ass and fix your GEO targeting. I have a campaign I'll kill it with - making both you and I money, but you keep fuckin' up my clicks, y'dig?

Signed,
Lavish.

are there any problems with other facebook app installs or is it just benaughty and flirt that will invoke the wrath of zuckerberg himself?
