NEW Facebook Ads

did facebook bill you yesterday for 1-february traffic? they usually bill me at around 3 PM EST but yesterday they didn't, and now my outstanding balance is getting out of control (1 feb traffic + 2 feb traffic).

last time they messed up my billing, they didn't bill me for 3 weeks of traffic (and this they only noticed after I emailed them) and had $xx,xxx outstanding balance which was tough to pay as my cc limit is way lower than that.

Hit it, as in cap the full 2k, 3-4 days in a row and see what happens.

Nothing will happen. You need to contact them to go above 1k. I've already done it once, but it was a while back. The email addresses that I've used last time are inactive now.

Has anybody had their account suspended because of 'suspicious payment activity'?

I just got this email from FB:
Hi,

Unfortunately, we have had to disable your account because our systems detected suspicious activity associated with your payments account. Facebook is currently investigating the matter. In order to expedite the investigation, please provide information as to the payment methods you have been using, your reasons for using them, and your advertising campaigns. Please note however that your full credit card number is not required. Facebook will never ask for your full credit card number via email, nor is it recommended that you send this information with your correspondence.

Thanks for your understanding,

This is with a brand new FB account (since my old one was banned by Facebook for ToS violation). There's no way that the two accounts could possibly be linked.

Has this happened to anybody else before and did you ever end up getting your account back?

Yeah I've had it happen to me. Ended up happening because my location didn't match my billing address. Once I cleared it up and told them why they reactivated my account.

Yep, they never unbanned me though.

Thanks for the info.

Then how do you usually handle multiple accounts? I'm going through a VPN to make sure this account doesn't get associated with the IP's I used to access my original FB account. (Also you can't put in your real contact info or else they can tie it to your old FB account).

If you don't want to post this info publicly I'd appreciate a PM or hitting me up on AIM because it sucks not being able to advertise on FB when you have profitable, good volume campaigns.

Email advertise@facebook.com, that's how I got it done a few days ago.

Thanks. Will try that. The link above ^ doesn't work if you're trying to go above 1k a day.

BTW: Anyone else see huge click discrepancy between Facebook and aff network? Facebook shows 3000 while network shows 2400.

I'm redirecting via a PHP script on my VPS server. Could it be that the server cannot handle the simple redirects when Facebook sends a batch of a few hundred clicks?

Facebook is notorious for having highly inaccurate click counts as well as giving impressions outside your targeted country. Not too much you can do about it.

It still amazes me that advertisers provide the vast majority of Facebook's revenue, but they still treat us like complete shit. I bet when they go public, they will have to loosen up their guidelines as well as provide way better support to hit the profit figures investors are going to expect.

Posted new ads at 8AM this morning, its 5:30 still have not been reviewed.

Whats the avg time these days?

Same here haha, which is weird because I had almost instant approvals last night around 8p.m.

But usually it takes like 3 hours for my ads to be approved depending on when I submitted them.
