facebook retroactively disapprove ads all the time. especially ones that are working fine. make sure your ads have conservative images in them and are in on the TOS to the t.

as for the billing i had the same issue i thought i was getting a free day but they banged me with the charge today. damnit. that would have doubled my ROI!

I know you can only use Amex with a US dollar account (which this one is). Maybe there are some other conditions, like you need a 'trusted' account, due to people using those amex business card coupons or something.

What's the current status on FB dating? Will I get banned if I sneak a boobs picture by the review or just get it retro-disapprove?
 
So last I knew the fb house CPM rate was .x3 cents. (who ever watched Jeremy's FB presentation knows this figure, I do) Why the fuck do my .25 ctr cpm ads suggested bids still hover 3x that amount? At what rate are you big spenders dropping your bids.? Their algorithms play a big mindfuck game if you drop too fast and YOU kNOW this. Will pay good money for this info...pm ME

The presentation said that if your CTR falls below the "house rate" it will stop showing. The house rate is 0.23c. Initial suggested bid will always start much higher. Then it will drop if the CTR is high, but .25 is not good enough for a significant drop. But don't worry about the suggested bid, you can bid much lower, in most cases (depends on demo) and still get traffic.

Few people are running CPM ad on FB now (you need a damn good ctr for it to work and even then not always), since they changed the algo a few months back. Try CPC.

You need to keep creating ads and messing with lowering the bids until you get a 'feel' for it. Trying to find the golden formula will just drive you mad, as it keeps changing, dependent on a lot of factors.
 
Anyone noticed that the ad layout changed? looks like the adtext is shown to the right of the image now, instead of below it.
 
my conversions went down quite drastically today,
I wonder if its wednesday or the new layout

realised fb only changed layout in the ad maker, layout people are exposed to has indeed been like that for a while now, i need some sleep

are wednesdays the worst converting days for anyone else? :anon.sml:
 
hey guys,

i know some of you said that you saw you had a free day! I actually was showing that I got 2 free days, the 1/29 and 1/30. The thing about it was they actually charged me for it on time. but it was showing $0 after they already charged me for it...so i didnt think twice.

until today when they charged me again for both those day. My daily budget is $250 for this campaign so they literally debited my account $250 twice today for the two days that were registering as $0.

I tried to contact FB but they have terrible customer service. does anyone have a contact or an email that i can get in touch with to get this sorted out!

any suggestions or thoughts would be awesome! thanks guys
