bubbles make sure you have the right loader installed for ioncube...i had a similar issue yesterday but was able to get it to work after went thru the thread on phpbay forum about ioncube...check it out

Ok, I will try this out on (at least) 3 domains I still have lying around.

We'll see how it goes.

Yay!

A neat idea is to actually make multi-language phpbay sites based around a single niche. I just wrote a blog about it but to summarize....

- PHPbay sites take a while to setup and research originally... Probably 10 hours per site.
- Just translating and adding the proper ebay links is easily done and takes another say 1-2 hours per language

You can then take advantage of the countries that 'probably' don't have as many sign-ups as the US. Yes, the payout is lower but the conversion 'should' be higher. I've done a US (english), France (French) and Italy (Italian) site so far....

Well, I've still just had the one $28 sale from mid-May. Other than that, all 0's.

I updated to the latest version of phpBay and updated to the latest version of WP.

Was getting $5 - $10 a day before. Something still seems a little screwy to me.

I have about 6 of these sites going. Here is one...

GUITAR ZONE - You Want Guitars? We’ve Got Guitars.

That one gets a decent amount of traffic.

There's something wrong with your site...you can't click on the listings (maybe that's been one of your problems with the drop in conversions??:D)

I just set up my first site. I'm trying out some stuff for SEO/Backlinks and stuff. What I'm currently trying, which I think will yield good results is:
Flickr Link Building Tips

I'm also going to be writing niche related articles for a while.

What else are you guys doing for backlinks/traffic?

@montydad5000 yeah, your website is messed up in IE7. Get it fixed to get your clicks back!

Hmm , first thought , its a co.uk site so your target audience would be from the UK Im assuming, yet the listings are for US$ ads?
What if you used ebay.co.uk and listed the stuff in british pounds or Euros?

I've only just changed it from GBP to USD to see if it made a difference.

Damn yesterday was my biggest day with $105 with 222 clicks. With 4 ACRU's I was surprised to see that. Because I had 3 for the whole month with over 2k clicks. I wish I could average 50 cents a click.

Hey...just got this e-mail....check THIS out...

"

It would be nice if we can incorporate THAT into those phpBay sites instead of the crap-tacular EBay Partner Network.

So I'm trying this out. I'm with resellerzoom and I had to have them install ioncube. I tried putting my php.ini filie public_html and wp-content/plugins/phpBay/includes/ and still can't get the damn thing installed, does anyone have any experience with this kind of stuff?

Hmmm, I'm on resellerzoom and got the script working no problems. Never had them install ioncube (maybe cause I have an older version?), just installed the script in the plugin directory and placed the auction.php file in my root folder.

However, the problem I have right now is that it's not tracking impressions, but it is tracking clicks. I don't think this is good at all.

I set it up on a different host where I had a blog (different template and older version of WP) and it everything works the way it should.

anyone interested in buying the domain "BuyAnAmp.com" from me? i bought it to make a PHPbay site with a whole back, just never had time to do anything with it. I got all the way through fender amps, then just hit a wall with time. It has an older version of PHPbay on it, still with my CJ info, so it's not displaying anything...

PM me if your interested...
