I don't think it did that well in the mainstream. It is a great and moving film. Well worth watching. It even has Scarlett Johansson.

"The Wizard of Oz" is my favorite film, although it's only sandwiched in b & w.

I have so many favorites it's impossible to name them all. Nobody mentioned "Sullivan's Travels," and I like movies about greed and desire among fortune hunters: "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" (with Humphrey Bogart) and "Pepe Le Moko" and "Wages of Fear" (French).
