MySpace reportedly may allow member ads

I'd take that story with a grain of salt.

Myspace first allows rampant spam. Then sues people over spam. Then loses the lawsuit. Then decides "ehhh fuck it, let's just let them spam the network". Yeah right.
 
If Myspace did allow spam I think in the long term Myspace would die because everyone would switch to Facebook. I like how Facebook has hardly any spam for me. Myspace although could allow a more legit way of advertising on the site without spamming and that's what I am thinking the article could be refering to.
