On the firing line
Is there a commercially available application capable of handling / managing 5000 - 20000 profiles? I've got an opportunity to purchase 5000 profiles, but I just realized it don't mean shit if I have to deal with them manually.

Thanks!

I think badderadder can do this, but most programs that are on the market suck

badderadder sucked 4 me, nothing really works well...

how much are you purchasing them for?

I just read about MyOwnChanger, anybody have any experience with it? They claim to be able to handle multiple accounts, but from skimming the site, they don't say how many.

Engaged: I found them on Screennameforum.com there are a number of people selling thousands of accounts in big chunks. There is one seller that claims to have 500,000 + accounts for sale. The one that I'm considering would be 5000 for $75. I'm not sure how many friends each account has, my guess is just 1 each (Tom). So, it may be a better idea for me to find a program that can auto-create accounts...

They are most likely phished lists. I would stay out of that......

Be careful with myownchanger. that program was/is(i'm not sure if it is) stealing logins and posting messages on the accounts. I had a bunch of accounts that I ran through it that had bulletins posted on them, and they were legit accounts. There was a huge drama thread about it on SNF. Badder Adder and space station are also both shit because you have to manually add the accounts and it is a pain in the ass. Best bet is mychanger and I don't know if it steals the logins still.

no.. put them in accounts.txt in username;password format.

well even then for finding friends it doesn't use the myspace search... you can do it randomly then se tthe criteria to actually send friend requests... but this can waste A LOT of time.

Its seriously easy to program a bot to login to myspace and post a bullitin or do whatever.... do it in php and use forking.. save yourself days.

what? you goto the search page, put in your options, then click 'extract IDs'.. it goes through every page and gets the IDs for you (the search only does 3000 at a time though).

You seriously overestimate my abilities lerchmo! I'm just learning PHP. I think I can pull off the "Hello World" script without screwing it up too much, but beyond that I'm still a little green.

All true. Those 500k+ accounts being sold are phished; 99.9% of the accounts on SNF are phished. I think there may be an account creator or two floating around on there, but nothing fully automated.

As for your original question: get a custom solution, none of the public apps are really handle well under pressure. They were not designed for whales
:xomunch:

Of the commercially avail apps, myownchanger *was* the best, until it was discovered that the app was sending account info back home.

The best commercially available app is spacestation. But, it won't gracefully handle > 100 accounts without constantly checking on it.
