My New Book: Rule By Ignorance

Just read the free chapters slayerment... Good stuff all around.

I guess it would be classified as a philosophy book, which is the word I haven't seen it described with here or on your site. Does that mean the word philosophy kills sales?

I'll likely grab the kindle version for when I've got a few hours to blow on my flight next month...

Also, just curious: Is Chapter 8-1 "An Island story" about Jekyll Island?

Who wrote the book?
Was the word "My" in the title not obvious enough for you bro?

"You" are a very specific combination and organization of energy, and when "you" die that organization goes with it. You do not continue existing after you die, you are dissipated into the universe from which you came.

Or do you also claim to be 14 billion years old?

PROOF OR GTFO BLACKMAN

Not to seem like a troll but technically we are as old as the universe. It's been proving that our universe has been expanding ever since the big bang. I do think green leaves used one of newtons laws out of context, however, if you believe the big bang to be true then technically we are all made from origins of a star, which would explain why carbon and hydrogen are the predominant elements throughout our universe. As for 'our organisation of energy' it doesn't technically dissipate, as our body in some way or another affects our ecological system. By mentioning our energy just dissipates means life is spontaneously created without any correlation or links.

You can be made from atoms of ancient stars but what makes you you is the exact order of those atoms to produce your "consciousness". Nobody and nothing can hear your thoughts except "you". When you die, your individual atoms will not "remember" who "you" were. Do you remember being a star?

I'm assuming that by "We" you mean humans. Humans are not as old as the Universe as far as we know. Not even close.

Awesome man, major props.

The fact that you have people getting in depth, trying to find flaws, debating you, is proof enough you have something potentially successful.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you, but writing the book and completing it to this point will only be a small fraction of the hustle you'll need to make it successful.

^ da.

Good shit OP - if you want clickbank help hollar, you're crazy for selling it for $1 and I think this is actually affiliate worthy considering all the changes at CB right now.

(If you don't it's just a matter of time before someone outsources a re-write - trust me get it on CB to protect yourself, people are charging $47 for similar or less and upselling to more on the back. Unless this is a karma move and you just want to educate people, but then why not make it free - when it's $1 it might move units or it might be looked at as cheap/useless).

EDIT: And when you give your .pdf sample away free - I'd suggest you make them opt-in and do a follow up series with more tease/keep sending them back to your site or through a discount. Build that list as your target will probably be people semi-in-the-know and or probably have a bit of monies, fuck maybe try a recur element to keep them on a drip of intel or to pay per month per chapter or something. Great start though if tests prove positive re market response you may actually do really well with this (I did a lot of ebooks in my day, absolutely amazing what kind of money is in simple .pdf's packaged well and developed into a line up or dripped pro-longed lifecycles. Also think about hybrid elements re video's w/voice overs and graphics to tell the story or to add-on as upsells etc).

This is how I started my lil' empire actually :) Reminding me of my first ebook, I bombed it bad, then the next few were better, then within a year I was doing 6figs+ once I learned that the product is but 15% of the total project but it does indeed all start with that first buynow button so kudos Slayer.

SUP3RNOVA drop some shrooms...Might help with that materialist, reductionist, emergentist thinking you're trapped in

The universe is nondual, subject-object distinction is illusory (self and other, you and the universe)

We (not just humans, but everything, in some degree) are the Universe/Existense, an expression of It, and the flow of forms never stops (unless you become concious of the process :-p)

Everything changes, nothing stays the same for a billionth of a second. Our conciousness will change too; but for most, they will fall into unconciousness and leap into another womb to take another birth... because Ultimate Reality is just too scary (overwhelming) baby... seperate existence is easier

/mystical shit

From a strict scientific perspective (which appears to be how you are approaching this), "consciousness" isn't exactly defined or understood.

You were you when you were two years old, and in some ways you were more aware then, but you are also now something very much different, not just in the way your brain works but also most of the cells in your body have been replaced every so many years.

If Star Trek teleporters become a reality, is the "you" that goes in the same one that comes out?

I just read a few pages this morning.

One major problem of the self publishing going on today has hit your book as well.

You need a good editor.

I found shitty errors in the foreword already...

::emp::

slayerment, this looks really interesting.

Buying the eBook version as we speak. If I like it, will order paperback.

Will post when finished reading.

Will order the paperback.

Some notes: Love the book. I have been aware of these things for myself, so when reading this book, it kinda gave the "feels good man" feeling. Like I am abiding you. Don't know if this is bad or good (heh, the irony).

Then again, "ignorant people" might have something to struggle with, and will question the content of the book a lot. To each his own.

One thing tho - I sometimes lost myself in explanations. For example, in the "Basics" chapter. Had to re-read couple of parts to grasp the concept you're explaining, but then again, this might be only my fault.

I have already recently considered this question and concluded last week that I won't be the first chump to test that shit.

Others testing it won't prove anything. If the technology works it works. Problem is, will your subjective experience flow through it or will a clone open his eyes on the other side.

This is an issue that will never be solved and there's no test to determine if the person on the other side is still you or just a copy.

. When you die, your individual atoms will not "remember" who "you" were. Do you remember being a star?

While, honestly, I agree with what you're trying to say, your argument is flawed. Your hypothesis is because we can't remember being a star we were therefore never a star. If this were an accurate statement would it not also be true to say you can't remember being 3 months old, therefore you were never 3 months old?
