He is just a scared little boy who never sets foot outside of his country. A lot of poeple confuses third world countries problem and associate it with religion. To me if someone is killed or maimed does not matter if its based on religious ideas or not, its a shitty things and the perpetrator needs to be punished.

Any reasons for committing a crime does not in anyway make it worst or better, it is still a crime.
 
he raised good points, but stoning and be-headings are quite rare, and when they happen they make news. Americans kill each other with guns all the time, other countries kill either in other ways. A lot of fucked up people in the world.

But by the same token, the American/NATO soldiers in Iraq are not criminals for invading someone's country, raping, killing, torturing, bombing etc.

Everyone makes exceptions for violence done to people they think are "bad".

Surprised to read this because you're good at logic and debate. The example you gave has nothing to do with the point that cpauser seemed to be making: that hangings and be-headings under Islam (Sharia) are somehow the same as Americans murdering each other (a criminal act).
 
Ok, I just read what he wrote. It was intelligent (surprise, surprise).

My post is still valid and it applies directly to what you wrote.

"The difference" you claim is just made up nonsense. Substantively, committing violence against a peaceful party is wrong, whoever does it. That was my point.

Words like law, legal, criminal, sharia, are just abstractions used to describe away positive or negative aspects of human action.

Islamic countries look at at America and think how stupid/primitive we are for having thousands of gun deaths this year when they have relatively few. I'm not condoning the behavior of fundamentalists, but it's all about perspective.

What I'd like to know is, why does Islam immigration benefit Tony Blair? And how did this mass influx of Muslims happen, not only to the UK but to other Western European countries as well?

Any of our political experts here care to chime in?

Compare Western Europe with Eastern Europe. First thing you will notice is a lack of robust social help system in Eastern Europe.

Statistically immigrants tend to vote Labour so the aim was to build a block vote to keep the Conservatives out for ever. They failed but now the UK has a problem.
