This is true, and I think there's been some scientific studies to prove this. Basically when you publicly say you're going to do something (on a forum, to a friend...) you've decreased your chances of actually doing it, because somehow in your mind you've already completed the task, when in fact you haven't. Weird human psychological shit.

Yeah, that relates to your own self image. Some people feel satisfied enough from the feedback they receive by merely annoucing something they intend to do, that they no longer feel motivated to do it.

That doesn't apply in this case, though. OP's just taking his sweet time.
 
OP is a hard-working, self-made millionaire, he has a business to run 24/7 and he probably got overwhelmed by a vast amount of problems that needed his immediate attention.
Enjoy your peasant lives while you can because after OP posts his magnum opus we will all become millionaires and we'll properly understand the real value of money and time.
