MSN AdCenter Update

Finally! MSN AdCenter has been updated with a new layout but most importantly the most annoying thing about AdCenter was the fact that you couldn't delete keywords from the keyword performance. Cheers to AdCenter for adding this as a new update!

How the hell can you be down for 24 hours? I haven't been in PPC long enough to know but have any other networks been done for a whole freakin day?

To my suprise, I've had a good experience with MS AdCenter.

Along with the updates you guys noticed, my control panel is also running faster and more smoothly. A lot of times it would take 30 seconds or more for a page to load, and that's if it loaded at all. Things seem a bit better now.
 
Adcenter is running super fast for me today, thats something nice for once. Id like them better if they would just stop deleting all of my keywords for no reason
 
Ditto, or at least tell me what KW's got axed (unless im missing this somewhere). Other than that, the lack of volume is the only thing that bothers me.
 
Did anyone else get a call from them?

Some lady from Adcenter called me up while I was taking asleep asking me how she could help me. I just mumbled something about being okay at the moment and went back to sleep.

I haven't really checked out the new adcenter but the thing that bothered me about the old one was how slow the process was. Everything loaded slowly. You couldn't open up extra tabs or windows because of the way it was programmed. Submitting keywords was a pain in the ass. And the deleting everythying. They'd accept it, and then delete it a day later. Ridiculous.

I'll go check them out.

pfgannon, I think you can opt-in to have them tell you that your keywords were dissaproved. But it won't tell you which ones or why, and just give you a link.

Oh and there's no way to go in and delete the mass disapproved words. You have to do it manually. Are you joking me?
 
Yeah this has been in beta awhile. When they finally got everything working, it is an improvement over the old set up.
 
I still cant login...for the past 14 hours...fucking adcenter are hopeless..
 
Confused, I also got a call from them. I wrote an email asking why my traffic went from about 350 clicks per day to 2. I made all new campaigns and still under 5 clicks... I raised my bids to being ranked first. Still barely any clicks. I changed all the content, still no clicks. I even made a campaign and directed the clicks at top ranking pages in google on the subject that didn't rank in msn. No clicks.

So a rep from msn called out of the blue one day. First she asked if I had resolved my problem. I told her no. She said that I had to wait until the beginning of May because adcenter re-evaluates campaigns at the beginning of ever month now. She said the system had to evaluate how much traffic my pages would get before they fully turned them on, so I didn't go over my budget......

To be honest it made no sense, and sounded like a ton of bullshit. I will post a follow up sometime in may if my traffic increases.....

No spending is better than overspending. I went from 3-4 conversions a day on a high paying offer to 0. Back to losing money. =(
 
The problem is msn traffic converts so well. I don't think there was a single day in the past 5 months that I didn't come out ahead...
 
Update: New AdCenter is complete shit. I can login but I can't change anything or go to anything because it all times out. I tried through proxies, even different places for internet. Slow as fuck just logging in too.
 
The thing about AdCenter is that the ROI is so good that it is worth putting up with the crap. Also, their phone support is great! Just waiting for MSFT to buy YHOO and then build this platform together into something we can spend thousands on...
 
Oh fuck it all. I just got this e-mail from them about their new TOS.
